According to IMD, Monsoon will enter Kerala in the next 24 hours. Heavy rains have been warned over Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu over the next 6 to 7 days. Winds of 40 to 50 km per hour are expected at many places in South India. Strong winds are also forecast at many places.

Heavy rains are expected in the states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Mizoram between June 4 and 6. Heavy rains are also predicted in South India. Meteorological Department has issued warning in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh. Stormy winds have been predicted in the coastal areas of Karnataka state. Due to this, citizens have been urged to be vigilant.
