India got this number in the world’s 100 best cuisines, Amritsari Kulcha and Hyderabadi Biryani won hearts.

The whole world knows India for its diversity. As much as the lifestyle, culture, clothes, speech and languages are different here, the same diversity is visible in our food too. Every state, every city and sometimes even every village has its own special flavour. One cannot look at an Indian thali and say that ‘this is Indian food’, because in the very next house one will get something completely different. This diversity makes our food culture the most special in the world.

Our food not only connects the people of our country, but when foreign tourists also come to India, they become crazy about our street food, spices and local taste. Recently, the world’s famous food platform TasteAtlas has released the ranking of ‘World’s Best Cuisine’ for 2025-26, in which the food of 100 countries has been ranked on the basis of people’s ratings. India has performed brilliantly in this list and has made its place in the top 20.
