BCCI announced the Indian team for the second test; Know which players got a chance

India retain same squad for 2nd Test against Bangladesh: In the first test match being played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, India has registered a spectacular victory by defeating Bangladesh by 280 runs. In this match, India had given Bangladesh a huge target of 515 runs. But, the visiting team collapsed on a score of 234 runs in the second innings. Just a few hours after this victory, BCCI has announced the Indian team for the second test.

BCCI issued a statement saying, “The men's selection committee has retained the same team for the second Test of the IDFC First Bank Test Series against Bangladesh. The second Test will be played in Kanpur from September 27.” That is, in the second Test, Rohit Sharma (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Jurel (wicketkeeper), R Ashwin, R Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj, Akash Deep, Jaspreet Bumrah and Yash Dayal will be part of the Indian team.
