FIH Men’s Pro League 2026: India set for crucial final phase in Europe
The Indian men’s hockey team is set to return to action in the final phase of the FIH Men’s Pro League, with matches scheduled from June 14 to June 28 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, and London, England.
The FIH Men’s Pro League is an annual global field hockey competition organised by the International Hockey Federation (FIH), featuring the world’s top men’s national teams. It replaced the Men’s FIH Hockey World League and serves as a qualification pathway for both the Olympics and the Hockey World Cup.
India’s Performance this season
India’s campaign in this season’s Pro League has been disappointing so far. The team has played eight matches, losing five and drawing three. Their best result came in their most recent outing against Australia, where India won the shootout 3-1 after the match ended in a draw, earning a shootout bonus point.
With eight matches remaining, India will look to improve their performances, collect crucial points and build confidence ahead of the upcoming Asian Games.
A major attraction of this phase of the competition will be India’s two matches against Pakistan, scheduled for June 23 and June 26 in London. The fixtures are expected to be among the most eagerly anticipated matches of the tournament from an Indian perspective.
Apart from Pakistan, India will also face the Netherlands, Germany and England. Taking on three of the world’s strongest hockey nations, India will hope to challenge the hosts and end their campaign on a positive note.
