New Delhi: Abbas Araghchi has appealed to India to play a more active and positive role in establishing regional peace amid increasing tension in West Asia. During a press conference held in New Delhi, he said that India is a responsible and influential country, which can make a significant contribution in reducing the current crisis. He clearly said that the solution to the issues related to Iran and the entire West Asian crisis is possible only through dialogue and diplomacy, not through any military action.
What did Araghchi say?
Araghchi, who reached India to participate in the BRICS conference, said that Iran will support every initiative in which India plays a constructive role to maintain stability and peace in the region. He said that New Delhi has influence on the global stage and a balanced diplomatic approach, which can be used to handle the current situation. The Iranian minister said that any meaningful step taken by India can prove helpful in establishing peace in the entire region.

What did the Iranian Foreign Minister say on relations with America?
Speaking on relations with America, the Iranian Foreign Minister said that there is a situation of deep mistrust between the two countries. He also mentioned Pakistan’s mediation efforts and said that this process has not been a complete failure, but is not moving forward due to lack of trust. He also praised China’s role and said that China has already helped in restoring relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Iran hopes that China’s initiative can yield better results in the future.
