India signs 9 international trade deals under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi: Historic

New Delhi: Under the leadership of Dr. Vijay Jolly, President of India’s famous NGO Delhi Study Group, a discussion on “India’s International Trade Deals, Changing Geopolitics and Global Economy” was organized at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. In the packed program, Dr. Vijay Mehta (Consul General of Romania), Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma (Ambassador of Nepal), keynote speaker Prof. Rakesh Mohan Joshi (Vice Chancellor of Indian Foreign Affairs) Business Institute) and Judson Wendell Eddy (Liberia Chamber of Commerce Chair). Researchers from Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Jamia Islamia along with diplomats from many countries were present in the program. The program was conducted by Study Group Chairman Dr. Vijay Jolly.

Congratulated on the signing of 9 historic trade deals by Prime Minister Modi and Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, protecting the interests of Indian farmers and exporting goods manufactured in India by Make-in-India. Pro. Rakesh Mohan Joshi and Dr. Vijay Mehta said on this occasion that India has maintained its economic balance in the times of changing global political developments due to US President Donald Trump’s “tariff diplomacy”. Nepal Ambassador Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma claimed that such deals will also provide economic benefits to India’s neighboring country Nepal. Liberian business leader Judson Wendell Eddy said India needs to have a proactive Africa-centric economic assistance policy. Along with this, everyone remained silent and paid emotional tribute to late Ashok Garg ji, who had been contributing to the Delhi Study Group for 33 years, by offering flowers.
