India signs Haj agreement with Saudi, gets quota of 1,75,025 pilgrims, follow rules
On Monday, an agreement was signed between Saudi Arabia and India in which a quota has been fixed for more than 1 lakh Indian pilgrims for the year 2025. According to the information, during a meeting held in Jeddah, Minister for Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah has signed the agreement with Indian Minister Rijuju.
Haj Agreement 2025 signed
According to the Indian Union Minister, according to the agreement signed in the year 2025, Haj quota for 1,75,025 pilgrims has been reserved. He has said that all possible best facilities will be provided to all the pilgrims. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted this agreement. He has said that this is good news for Indians.
According to Haj Policy 2025, out of the total Haj quota, 30% or 52,507 slots will be given to private Haj Group Organizers (HGOs), while 70% of it can be given to Haj Committee of India (HCoI). Pilgrims should follow all the rules issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah there.
