If we look at the figures, till now in 2025, 6 startup companies have together raised Rs 27,081 crore, which shows the increasing confidence of investors and strong market sentiment.

These are the top 5 startup billionaires

Alakh Pandey and Prateek Boob, co-founders of edtech company Physicswala, top the list. The estimated net worth of both is estimated to be around $1.51 billion.

After the listing of Physicswala in the stock market, investors have got excellent returns. The shares of the company have registered a huge increase of about 321 percent compared to the issue price. The two founders hold a total of 36.15 percent stake in the company, which has led to a sharp increase in their wealth.

Eyewear brand Lenskart founder Piyush Bansal and his family have also joined the list of new startup billionaires. His total net worth is also said to be around $1.51 billion. Although Lenskart shares opened about 3 percent below the issue price on the day of the IPO, later a strong recovery was seen in the market. At present the company’s shares are trading about 12.4 percent above the IPO price. Piyush Bansal and his family hold 17.41 percent stake in Lenskart.

Other names related to fintech and e-commerce sector have also emerged in this list. The net worth of Groww founder Lalit Keshare is estimated to be around $1.01 billion. He holds 8.87 percent stake in the company. Vidit Atre, co-founder of social commerce platform Meesho, has also joined this club with a net worth of about $1.01 billion. His stake in Meesho is said to be 10.12 percent.
