India strongly condemned Pakistani attack on Kabul hospital, said – “Attack on innocent civilians is not acceptable”
Tezzbuzz Desk- The Pakistani air attack on Omid Hospital in Kabul on the night of 16 March 2026 has created a stir throughout Afghanistan and the international community. More than 400 people were killed and hundreds were injured in this attack. The hospital was a de-addiction center and only patients and common citizens were there for treatment; No weapons or military material were present.
The Indian government strongly condemned the attack and said it was not a military action but a cowardly and inhuman attack targeting innocent civilians. India clarified that targeting any hospital or civilian place is never acceptable.
The government said that Pakistan will try to hide this attack by calling it a military operation, but the truth is that it is a direct attack on civilians. India called it an attack on Afghanistan’s land and sovereignty and warned that it could further increase tension in the entire region. India also said that this attack happened in the holy month of Ramzan, when there should be talk of humanity and peace, hence it is even more shameful.
India appealed to the international community not to take this attack lightly and to take strict action against those responsible. Also, while expressing condolences with the Afghan people, he paid tribute to those killed and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Taliban government of Afghanistan has termed this attack as an atrocity and a crime and has warned Pakistan that it will be avenged. After this incident, it is believed that Taliban may launch a major military counter-attack on Pakistan.
This attack has further strained Afghanistan-Pakistan relations and raised questions of security and peace in the entire region.
