Desk: The Indian cricket team for the ICC Men’s T-20 World Cup 2026 was announced on Saturday. The 15-member team was announced under the leadership of Surya Kumar Yadav in the selectors’ meeting led by Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar. Akshar Patel has been made the vice-captain of the team. Sanju Samson has been included as the wicketkeeper. Jharkhand cricket team captain Ishan Kishan has returned to T-20. Rinku Singh has once again been included in the team. The most important thing is that Shubman Gill has been dropped from the World Cup team. Ishaan has returned to the Indian team after 2 years. Ishaan has been rewarded for his good performance. A meeting of selectors was held at the headquarters of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai, after which BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia announced the team in a press conference.
