India to host Central Asian Youth Delegation from March 22 to 28, 2025 Gujarati

New Delhi: The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, will host the 3rd Central Asian Youth Delegation to India from 22 to 28 March 2025 under the International Youth Exchange Program (IYEP). The objective of this initiative is to promote youth cooperation, cultural exchange and strengthen diplomatic relations between India and the countries of Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

This program follows the vision set during the India-Central Asia Summit held in January, 2022, in which the Honorable Prime Minister of India proposed an annual youth exchange initiative to enhance mutual understanding among young leaders of the region. This delegation of 100 members will engage in various activities, in which the historical, educational and cultural landmarks of India will be explored. Also, talks will be held with local youth leaders and key stakeholders.

Main highlights of this visit:

Introduction to cultural and heritage: Experience the architectural and historical heritage of India by visiting Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Humayun’s Tomb and heritage sites of Goa.

Academic and Economic Linkages: To explore opportunities for India’s progress in technology, research and entrepreneurship, he will interact with students and faculty at IIT Delhi and visit Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI)/Goa Institute of Management.

Youth Networking and Volunteerism: Connect with My India to volunteer to discuss youth empowerment, leadership and innovation.
High-level diplomatic exchanges: Emphasizing the importance of youth empowerment, a meeting will be organized with the Hon’ble External Affairs Minister, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa and the Governor of Goa.

Cultural Exchange and Gala Dinner: A round table conference and gala dinner will be organized in the honor of the delegation. In which representatives will exchange their best practices for connecting with youth in their countries.

The visit will serve as a catalyst for future collaboration, inter-cultural understanding, leadership development and promotion of international cooperation in key areas. This youth exchange program reiterates India’s commitment to regional peace, friendship and economic partnership with Central Asia, so that the bond of goodwill continues to grow.
