Washington Sundar suffered an injury to his right hamstring during the second ODI played at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. After the initial investigation, the medical team decided to keep him out of the rest of the series. Now he will undergo a detailed scan and further treatment will be done under the supervision of a specialist doctor. In the absence of Washington, the selectors have expressed confidence in Harsh Dubey. If Harsh gets a chance to play, then Harsh, who was included in the team just before the decisive match, will have a big opportunity to prove himself in international one-day cricket.
