IND vs ENG 1st ODI: Today the Indian team will play the first ODI match against England. Spin may get help in the second innings
After winning the toss, England captain Harry Brook said, we will bat first. The pitch looks good, don’t know what will happen next, but we hope we will play well. Spin may be seen in the second innings. Will try to understand the situation as soon as possible.
Brook said that having the same players in T20 and ODI increases the confidence of the captain and the players. We have faced difficulties in the last few years, but we can make a fresh start and we have a team that can do that. We have included two spinners and three fast bowlers in the team.
Team strengthened by the return of Virat-Rohit
Indian captain Shubman Gill said, we wanted to bowl first. Most of the players have played T20, the rest have trained well and are ready for today’s match. This is an important series for us, our preparation starts from here, we can try different combinations and give opportunities to players with less experience.
Gill further said that senior players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL are back. Very excited about this series. The memories here have been good. Along with Dubey, we have 4 fast bowlers and two spinners in Washington Sundar and Akshar Patel. However, the team management has not included Ishan Kishan, who performed well in the T-20 series, in the playing eleven.
