Ishaan-Hardik’s blast, Varun’s spin… Team India crushed Namibia by 93 runs
IND vs NAM T20 T20 World Cup 2026: After losing the toss, the Indian team came to bat first and thanks to the explosive innings of Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya, scored 209 runs after losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and had set a target of 210 runs for Namibia.
India registered a resounding victory against Namibia.
India vs Namibia: In the 18th match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, India has defeated Namibia by a huge margin of 93 runs. This match between India and Namibia was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, where India, batting first, scored 209 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the entire Namibian team was all out for 116 runs.
Chakraborty took 3 wickets
Varun Chakraborty bowled the most lethal bowling on behalf of Team India and took 3 wickets for just 7 runs. Akshar Patel also took 2 wickets in his name. The Namibian batsmen looked helpless in front of both the spinners. Apart from this, Hardik, who performed brilliantly with the bat, also took 2 wickets. Whereas, Arshdeep-Bumrah and Shivam Dubey took one wicket each and restricted Namibia to 116 runs.
India had given a target of 210
After losing the toss and opting to bat first, the Indian team, thanks to the explosive innings of Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya, scored 209 runs after losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and had set a target of 210 runs for Namibia. In this match, Ishan Kishan played a stormy inning of 61 runs in 24 balls, while Hardik Pandya scored 52 runs in 28 balls. Sanju Samson, who was opening in place of Abhishek, scored 22 runs.
Two major changes were seen in India’s playing 11. Abhishek Sharma and Mohammad Siraj were kept out of the playing 11. While Sanju Samson and Jasprit Bumrah returned to the final eleven. Let us tell you that India’s next match will be against Pakistan which will be played in Colombo on 15th February.
