IND vs PAK: The Indian team has once again defeated Pakistan. India defeated Pakistan by 61 runs in the T20 World Cup 2026 match played at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on 15 February. This is India’s 10th consecutive victory against Pakistan. With this victory, Team India, captained by Suryakumar Yadav, qualified for the Super-8.
Now Team India will play its last match in the group stage against Netherlands on 18 February. Whereas in Super-8, India will play its first match against South Africa on 22 February. After this, Team India will play its second match in Super-8 on 26 February and the last match on 1 March. There may be a clash between India and Pakistan once again in this tournament.
India-Pakistan clash will not take place in Super-8
In the T20 World Cup 2026, all the 20 teams have been divided into 4 groups i.e. A, B, C, C. 5 teams have been kept in each group. The top 2 teams from these four groups will qualify for Super-8 and they have been placed in groups X and Y of 4 each. It has already been decided which teams will get a place in which group. Team India has been placed in X group in Super-8. Whereas Pakistan has been placed in Y group. Placed in X group. In such a situation, the clash between India and Pakistan is not going to happen in Super-8.
India-Pakistan may face each other in the semi-finals
The style in which the Indian team is playing. In such a situation, it will not be easy for any team to stop Team India. In such a situation, if Team India remains on top in Super-8, then in the semi-finals, Team India will face the team standing second in Y Group. In such a situation, if Pakistan remains second in Y group, then there will be a clash between India and Pakistan.
IND vs PAK clash may also happen in the final
Whereas, if Team India finishes at number-2 in If India and Pakistan do not clash in the Super-8, then both the teams can face each other in the final.
