Apart from this, arrangements have also been made to dry the field quickly after rain with the help of super soaker machines, so that the match is not affected much.
Weather changed due to western disturbance
According to Surendra Kumar, senior scientist of Meteorological Center, Shimla, the weather has changed in the high altitude areas of the state due to the activation of western disturbance. Light snowfall is expected in Dhauladhar areas of Lahaul-Spiti, Chamba, Kullu and Kangra. There may be light rain or drizzle during the match in Dharamshala.

On Saturday, there were light clouds in many parts of the state including Shimla and Dharamshala. Due to this, a drop in temperature may be recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of fog in Mandi, Bilaspur and Una, which may affect visibility.

The minimum temperature in Tabo of the state dropped by 2.2 degrees, while at other places the temperature increased by 1 to 2 degrees. Due to dense fog in Bilaspur, visibility was 100 meters, affecting traffic. The visibility in Mandi was recorded at 600 meters.

The minimum temperature in Neri in the state was recorded at 11.2 degrees, while in Shimla, Nahan and Paonta Sahib it was 10 degrees.
