'India will soon become a country with a 5 trillion dollar economy', PM Modi said in Nigeria
Abuja: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that India, full of confidence, has set out on a new journey. Now the country's aim is to build a 'developed India'. Addressing the Indian diaspora in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, he said that India has emerged as a new hope for the world by becoming a symbol of development, peace, prosperity and democracy. Modi started his speech with “Sannu, Nigeria”, which means “Hello Nigeria”. Modi said that I have brought with me the fragrance of India's soil and many good wishes for all of you on behalf of crores of Indians.
Referring to the achievements of his government, Modi said that India has come out of its comfort zone and is creating new paths by doing new things. He said that this has become the essence of today's India. Amid slogans of Modi-Modi, the Prime Minister said that India full of confidence has set out on a new journey today. The goal is clear – to build a developed India.

Indian economy doubled in last 10 years
During the program, PM Modi said that there are now more than 1.5 lakh registered startups in India. More than 100 unicorns have been created in the last decade. A unicorn means a company with a capital of Rs 8,000-10,000 crore. More than a hundred companies are a testament to the success of India's startup culture. He said India has added US$2 trillion to its GDP in the last decade. The size of the Indian economy has doubled in the last ten years.

The Prime Minister said that today India is the fifth largest economy in the world. The day is not far when India will become a country with a five trillion US dollar economy and the third largest economy. Modi said the world is praising India for its progress in the space industry. He said that India has decided that soon Indians will be sent to space through its Gaganyaan.
India's defense exports increased 30 times
The Prime Minister said that India is also going to build its own station in space. He said that India's defense exports have increased by almost 30 times. Modi praised the Indian community in Nigeria, saying that many Indian companies are strengthening the economy of this African country. He said that the Indian community is working shoulder to shoulder with Nigeria for its development and this is the great strength of the people of India.
