New Delhi, 8 June 2026: The result of the test match played between India and Afghanistan cricket team came on the third day itself. India defeated Afghanistan by one innings and 300 runs. Debutant Indian player Manav Suthar shone in this test match. He took six wickets in Afghanistan’s first innings and one wicket in the second innings.
In the test match played between Afghanistan and India, India batted first and scored a huge score of 564 runs. Indian player KL Rahul scored 100, Sai Sudarshan scored 81, captain Shubhman Geele scored 126, wicket keeper Pant scored 81 and Washington Sundar scored 52 runs. India declared the stakes by scoring 564 runs after losing eight wickets. Afghanistan players, who came to bat in the first innings, were follow-on after scoring only 152 runs. Indian bowler Manav Suthar took the maximum of six wickets, Prasidhan Krishna took 3 and Sundar took one wicket.
After Oloan, Afghanistan’s best men could not bat against the Indian bowlers even in the second innings. The entire team was out after scoring only 112 runs. Indian bowlers Washington Sundar took 4 wickets, Kuldeep Yadve took 3 wickets and Mohammad Siraj and Manav Sutha took one wicket each.
