Actually, the Indian women’s cricket team has been nominated for the 2026 Laureus World Team of the Year award. This is the first time that any women’s cricket team in the world has received this honour.

India defeated South Africa in the final

Harmanpreet Kaur’s army had chased a mountain-like target of 339 runs against Australia in the semi-final match. After this, Indian girls won the title by defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the final match.

Indian team is on Australia tour

Currently, the Indian women’s cricket team is on a tour of Australia. Where both the teams have played T20 and ODI series. Now the only test between them is left, which will start from March 6. This match is to be played in Perth.
