Days ahead of the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army on Sunday shared a post on social media detailing the precise strikes that destroyed nine terror camps linked to outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). “Precise targeting. Hit on terrorism. Lasting consequences,” the army said in a post on social media platform X. The post was also accompanied by a photo with the caption “9 terror camps destroyed” and “India does not forget”, which depicted a command center during the strikes carried out under Operation Sindoor.

Self-reliant India is ready.” The video highlighted the improvements made since the operation, including 50 new mission-ready units, four additional formations, over five lakh latest weapons, over two lakh new equipment and eight counter-terrorism operational formations.

Along with this, a picture of Operation Mahadev was also shared, with the tagline “Yeh to hona hi tha” written in red. It shows the process of intensive search and neutralization of terrorists involved in the attack. Operation Mahadev was launched soon after the 22 April attack. This involved an extensive search operation in the inaccessible Himalayan terrain near Dachigam/Mahadev Ridge, resulting in the neutralization of three main attackers. The Indian Armed Forces searched over 300 square kilometers of inaccessible terrain for 93 days and ultimately neutralized the terrorists.

A day before the anniversary of Pahalgam, the Indian Army reiterated its firm commitment to justice and issued a stern warning that any violation of the “limits of humanity” will invite a decisive response. “When the limits of humanity are crossed, the response is decisive. Justice has been served. India stands united,” the Indian Army said in a strongly worded post on its social media platform X. The post was accompanied by a message that read, “Some boundaries should never be crossed”, which showed a map of India marked with red ‘Sindoor’ powder, symbolizing the Army’s decisive action against terrorists under ‘Operation Sindoor’.
