Indian arrested in America for sexually abusing teenage girl by giving smugglers cheap hotel

Sexual abuse of the girl in exchange for getting the traffickers a cheap hotel. Not only that, the accused also paid money to the traffickers to sexually exploit the minor. As soon as this incident came to light, a 27-year-old Indian youth was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the American federal court. The name of the accused youth is Kavankumar Patel. He was a hotel worker in Omaha, Nebraska, USA.

This event started on January 6, 2025. The US police went to the hotel to investigate a theft case. Where the investigators found traces of human trafficking. After that, the Homeland Security Task Force and Omaha Police rescued two minors aged 15 and 16 from there. Traffickers brought the girl from foreign countries to the hotel for sex work. The incidents described by the two minors to the police are horrifying but understated.

The two minors said, ‘Traffickers told them to have sex with hotel staff to get rooms at low rent. Otherwise they will be thrown out of the hotel.’

Allegedly, three employees of the hotel sexually assaulted the minors day after day on condition of low rent. The accused also paid money to have sex with Patel and one of the girls. A third worker repeatedly sexually assaulted her without paying. In return, traffickers and minors are allowed to stay in the hotel for several days.

According to the rescued minors, they were not allowed to eat properly. There was no way to escape. In the meantime, sexual abuse was going on. Not only that, the traffickers also advertised online to arrange sexual activities with the minors while they were in the hotel.
