Toronto. A 30-year-old Indian woman has been murdered in Toronto, Canada, following which police have launched an investigation into the case and are searching for a suspect in the murder. This information has been given in a press release issued by Toronto Police. According to the press release issued on Monday, the deceased has been identified as Himanshi Khurana.

According to the ‘Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’ (CBC) report, police found the body of a missing woman in a house on Saturday. She was reported missing a day earlier in the area of ​​Strachan Avenue and Wellington Street W.

The press release said police have issued a warrant against the suspect in the case, 32-year-old Abdul Ghafoori. Ghafoori is also a resident of Toronto. The Indian High Commission in Toronto on Tuesday expressed shock and deep sorrow over the incident.

The High Commission said, “We are deeply saddened and shocked by the murder of Himanshi Khurana.” It expressed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family. He said he has been following the case closely over the past few days and will continue to support the victim’s family as the investigation progresses.
