Delhi: The Embassy of India in Iran has taken proactive measures to ensure the safety of Indian students in Tehran, relocating most of them to safer locations outside the city.
This move comes amid heightened risk perception in the area. The Embassy has arranged transportation, food, and accommodation for the relocated students.
A small number of students who declined the offer remain in Tehran, while others are advised to stay put and exercise caution.
The Embassy’s earlier advisory remains in place, urging Indian students and nationals to stay indoors, avoid windows, and remain vigilant at all times.
