After superstar footballer Messi left the Salt Lake Stadium, fans damaged the banners inside the Salt Lake Stadium. Fans threw bottles and chairs from the stands in the stadium. His allegation was that he had bought expensive tickets and had come to see Messi, but he stayed only for 10 minutes and left. He could not even see his favorite footballer properly. A fan said, “It was very bad. He came only for 10 minutes. All the leaders and ministers stood around him. We couldn’t see anything. He didn’t take even a single kick or penalty. They had said they would bring Shahrukh Khan too. They didn’t bring anyone. He came for 10 minutes and left. So much money, emotions and time was wasted. We couldn’t see anything…”

Another fan said, “There were only politicians and actors around Messi… Then why did they call us… We had taken a ticket of Rs 12,000, but we couldn’t even see his face…” Another fan who came to see Messi said, “It was a complete fraud. Messi was not shown at all. Only reporters, police and TMC leaders got to see him. We paid ₹ 5,000 for the ticket, while those who had come for free could see Messi.” After seeing it, they went away.”
