Nepal Airlines has also made a similar big mistake

By the way, this is not the first case of wrong map of India being shown in international forums or advertisements. A few months ago, Nepal’s national airline, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), had to face huge opposition at the international level for a similar act.

Nepal Airlines had shared a promotional route map and advertisement on its social media handles. In this graphic, the airlines had colored the Indian union territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as territories of Pakistan rather than India.

This image went viral within no time on social media. Indian users had termed it as ‘map aggression’ of Nepal Airlines. After this, #BoycottNepalAirlines started trending on social media and the Indian Foreign Ministry was demanded to lodge a strong diplomatic protest on this. Later Nepal Airlines had to publicly and formally apologize for this major lapse.
