IIM Kolkata will release CAT admit card today, exam will be held in 170 cities on this day.

Obnews Desk: It is an important test for the Common Admission Test (CAT) candidates. The admit card of Common Admission Test will be released by Indian Institute Management Kolkata on Tuesday i.e. today 5th November. Admit Card Hall Ticket will be released on the official website IIMCAT.AC.IN.

For the information of the candidates, let us tell you that the CAT exam will be held in three shifts, which will be held on 24th November. Whose exam result will come in the second week of January 2025.

Exam will be held in three shifts

First shift from 8:30 to 10:30 am
Second shift from 12:30 to 2:30 pm
The third shift will be from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.

It is noteworthy that this examination will be conducted in different cities of the country. For which it is important that the admit card is downloaded in time and the travel related preparations are done in time.
To download CAT admit card, first go to the official website iimcat.ac.in. After that click on CAT Admit Card 2024. Login by entering its user ID and password. After this register yourself. After completing these process carefully, click on admit card download. After this your admit card will be downloaded.

Exam will be held in 170 cities

CAT exam will be conducted in 170 cities. Candidates were given the option to select preference of 5 cities. Now every year more than 3 lakh candidates appear for CAT exam. CAT exam is divided into two sections. CAT qualified candidates can take admission in 21 IIMs and more than 1000 B schools i.e. business schools. For admission to MBA degree course, it is necessary to have top score in CAT.

IIM Kolkata will organize the exam

This year IIM Kolkata will conduct CAT exam. Every year some IIM i.e. Indian Institute of Management is given the responsibility of conducting CAT exam. Candidates who pass the Common Admission Test with top scores can take admission in Post Graduate Program in Management (PGP) and Fellowship in Management (FPM)/ (PhD) programs of IIMs and business schools located across the country.
