India’s LPG tanker ‘Jag Vikram’ Crossed Hormuz, became the first Indian ship to leave after ceasefire

According to reports received on Saturday, 11 April 2026, the Indian Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tanker ‘Jag Vikram’ Has successfully crossed Hormuz. This is the first Indian ship to pass through this strategic route after the announcement of temporary ceasefire.
‘Jag Vikram’ reaches Gulf of Oman
The ship transited this vital sea route between Friday night and Saturday morning. By Saturday afternoon, the ship was moving east and was located east of Hormuz. gulf of oman I had arrived. It is a medium-sized gas carrier ship which is heading towards India carrying about 20,000 tonnes of LPG.
Many ships are still stranded in the area
This is the ninth Indian ship to safely exit the Persian Gulf since the beginning of March. According to the data, at the time of the conflict in West Asia, a total of 28 Indian ships were present in the Hormuz area, out of which a total of 11 ships (9 from the western part and 2 from the eastern part) have been evacuated safely.

At present the supply is being partially restored to provide relief to essential services and businesses. According to officials, the situation is expected to improve further in the coming days and plans are being made to completely normalize the supply in a phased manner.
