In the last few years, incidents of discrimination against people of Indian origin and students from Canada, Australia, Britain and other countries of Europe have been reported. Experts believe that due to challenges like economic pressure, housing crisis and increasing competition, some people develop negative attitudes towards immigrants. However, most local citizens today still support diversity and immigrants.
