Meanwhile, Indian-origin Democratic Party candidate Raja Krishnamurthy is reported to have won for the second consecutive time.

Raja Krishnamurthy defeated the Republican candidate by a wide margin. Raja Krishnamurthy has won his second consecutive election from the 8th Congressional District of Illinois. He will represent the region in the US House of Representatives. He won the election with 57.1 percent votes. Republican Mark Rice received 42.9 percent of the votes. Raja Krishnamurthy won the election for the first time in 2016.

To win the US President (Raja Krishnamurthy) election, it is necessary to get 270 votes out of 538 electoral votes. Meanwhile, 481 results have come so far, in which Donald Trump has got 267 electoral votes. Kamala Harris has got 214 electoral votes. But since Donald Trump is leading in the states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada and Alaska, it is estimated that he will reach three quarters.

Who is Raja Krishnamurthy?

Raja Krishnamurti was born in India, but grew up in Buffalo, USA. Before entering Congress he held the position of Deputy State Treasurer of Illinois. He also served as Special Assistant Attorney General of Illinois and policy director for former President Barack Obama. Krishnamurthy supports policies including education and social security for middle-class families. He is currently a senior member of the Intelligence and Oversight Committee.
