Indian player crazy after money, Australian legend said big thing on IPL

New Delhi: India's speed star Mayank Yadav made his IPL debut in 2024. In his very first season, he played 4 matches and took seven wickets. But he got the most recognition because of his speed because while playing for LSG, he created a sensation by bowling at a speed of 156.7 KM per hour. Unfortunately, due to frequent injuries his career is not progressing stably. Now Australian legend Brad Hogg has taken a dig at all those Indian players including Mayank who do not think about anything else after getting the IPL contract.

The Australian legend said…

Brad Hogg told through his YouTube channel that Mayank Yadav does not want to go beyond IPL level fitness, which is why he has so far failed to make a place in India's Test team. He said, “Mayank Yadav has got recognition because of his speed. There are some other bowlers like him who consistently bowl at a speed of 145-150 kilometers per hour. I believe that young fast bowlers will emerge from India. Sometimes his only thinking is to bowl fast, he thinks, 'If I get an IPL contract, I will be satisfied.'

All nonsense after getting IPL contract

The Australian legend also emphasized that Indian players start considering everything else as nonsense after getting a good IPL contract. Brad Hogg said, “As soon as he gets an IPL contract, everything else becomes nonsense for him. He doesn't learn to play in the longer format. He doesn't know how to play with patience and determination at all. He Not at all fit for this job.” Mayank Yadav joins LSG in 2023. Finally, after a long wait, he got a chance to debut in IPL in 2024. He was bought by LSG for Rs 20 lakh, but retained by Lucknow Super Giants for IPL 2025 for Rs 11 crore. Also read…
