In this situation 50% amount will be deducted
If you cancel your ticket between 8 to 24 hours before the departure of the train, 50 percent of the amount will be deducted. Earlier this amount was deducted if the ticket was canceled between 4 to 24 hours.
Apart from this, improvements are also being made in the ticket booking system. Now passengers will be able to change their boarding station up to 30 minutes before the departure of the train, which will provide them more convenience. At the same time, Aadhaar based OTP verification has been implemented in Tatkal ticket booking, so that fake booking and misuse can be prevented. Railways has also implemented anti-bot system to make the online ticketing system secure, due to which about 3 crore suspicious or inactive user IDs have been closed.
