Indian Railways: Railway services will be halted for 3 hours on 14-15 March, neither tickets will be booked, nor PNR status will be visible.
News India Live, Digital Desk: Northern Railway has informed that scheduled system maintenance work is going to be done in Delhi Passenger Reservation System (PRS). Due to this updation process, services will be disrupted for about 3 hours on the night of 14/15 March 2026. This work is being done to improve the efficiency and security of the system. How long will the services remain closed? According to the Railways, the timing of the shutdown will be from 11:45 pm to 02:45 am on the midnight of March 14 and 15 (Saturday/Sunday). Which services will be affected? The following services will remain completely closed during this 3-hour period: Online Ticket Booking: Passengers will not be able to book Delhi PRS tickets through the IRCTC website or app. PNR Enquiry: The facility to check the current status of the ticket will not be available. Ticket Cancellation: Passengers will not be able to cancel their tickets online during this period. Inquiry Services (139): PNR and reservation related inquiry services will also be affected. Charting and ERD: Services related to chart preparation of trains and ERD (Electronic Reservation Diary) will also not work temporarily. Advisory for passengers: Railways has appealed to the passengers to complete their journey planning and ticket booking or cancellation before or after this scheduled time, so that they do not face any inconvenience at the last moment.
