New Delhi: ICC has released the schedule of the 2025 Champions Trophy, in which eight teams will participate, who finished in the first eight places in the points table of the 2023 ODI World Cup. This tournament will start from 19 February and continue till 9 March and a total of 15 matches will be played during this period. The Indian team has been placed in a group with Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand. The special thing is that all the matches of India will be held in Dubai International Stadium, which is a big relief for the Indian team.

Agree on hybrid model

Actually, India had refused to send its team to the Champions Trophy held in Pakistan due to security reasons. After this, after several weeks of negotiations, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agreed to the hybrid model, but it also placed a condition that the hybrid model would also be applicable for Pakistan in the ICC events to be held in India in the next three years. Under this agreement, now all the matches of the Indian team will be held in Dubai.

Dubai ground was good

The Dubai ground has proved auspicious for India because it has not lost any ODI match here so far. India has played 6 matches in Dubai, out of which 5 have been won and one match has been tied. India played its first match in Dubai in 2018 against Hong Kong and since then it has maintained its excellent rhythm on this ground. India has defeated Pakistan twice at the Dubai International Stadium, while India has also won twice against Bangladesh. One match was a tie against Afghanistan. Read Also: Siraj will be out!
