Indian women’s under-18 hockey team won against Singapore by 25 goals Gujarati

New Delhi, June 3, 2026: Indian women’s under-18 hockey team defeated Singapore 25-0 to top Group A and reach the semi-finals of the Asia Cup. In the match, 10 different players scored goals for the Indian team. Nausheen Naze scored the maximum seven goals (8′, 13′, 17′, 18′, 40′, 52′, 58′). Geethasree Nammi, who was declared as the player of the match, scored five goals (13′, 28′, 47′, 48′, 60′), while captain Sweety Kujure scored four goals (2′, 24′, 38′, 45′).

Priyanka Minje also scored a hat-trick (22′, 37′, 53′), while Diya (27′), Nancy Saroha (36′), Shruti Kumari (40′), Pushpa Majhi (47′), Rashmin Kaur (47′), and Sandeepa Kumari (51′) each scored a goal. The Indian team made its intentions clear by playing aggressively at the very beginning of the match. Captain Sweety scored a goal in the second minute. Then Naushi increased the lead in the eighth minute. Geeta Shree and Nausheen both established India’s dominance in the match by scoring goals in the 13th minute.

In the second quarter, the Indian team increased its dominance further, with Naushi scoring two quick goals. Then Priyanka and Sweety helped India increase its lead before half time. The flow of goals continued even after the break. Diya and Geeta Shree scored early in the third quarter, while Nancy, Priyanka, Sweety, Nausheen and Shruti added goals as India broke down Singapore’s defence. India scored ten goals in the last quarter. This was one of the best performances of the Indian team at the Under-18 level. India won against Malaysia, Korea and Singapore, finishing top in Pool A with an undefeated record and 9 points. The Indian team has qualified for the semi-finals.
