Indian youth in America tried to blow up the White House with a truck; Court sentenced 8 years imprisonment

Attempted Attack on White House: The American court on Thursday sentenced a 20-year-old youth of Indian origin to 8 years imprisonment. Who was accused of trying to attack the White House. The court found him guilty in this case. The youth has been identified as Sai Varshit Kandula, who is a lawful permanent resident of the US with a 'Green Card'.

Actually, Sai Varshit Kandula was accused of attempting to attack the White House on May 22, 2023. The US Justice Department has said that the purpose of this attack was to overthrow the democratically elected US government so that it could be replaced by a dictatorial regime inspired by Nazi ideology. Kandula had pleaded guilty to willful damage and destruction of American property.

According to US court documents, Kandula left for Washington from St. Louis, Missouri on the afternoon of May 22, 2023 and reached Dulles International Airport at around 5:20 pm. Here he hired a truck at 6.30 pm and carried out the attack. He rammed the truck into the barricades protecting the White House and President's Park at the intersection of H Street, Northwest, and 16th Street, Northwest, in Washington around 9 p.m.

After this the young man drove the truck on the footpath, which created panic among the people present there. Then he got out of the truck, went to the back, took out a Nazi flag from his bag and started waving it. According to the Justice Department, U.S. Park Police and Secret Service officers arrested Kandula at the scene.
