Indians injured in Iranian attack safe: Indian Embassy in UAE
New Delhi. An Indian citizen injured in Iranian missile attacks in UAE is now out of danger. The Indian Embassy has given this assurance on Monday. Detailing the damage caused by the attacks, the UAE Defense Ministry said Pakistani, Nepali and Bangladeshi civilians were killed, while 58 civilians from various other countries, including Indians, were slightly injured.
The embassy clarified that they are in touch with the hospital administration and full medical care is being provided to the injured Indian. Citizens of 15 countries, from Emirati to Afghan, were injured, but all were reported to be in stable condition.
The UAE Air Force showed tremendous bravery during the attacks. A total of 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles and 541 drones were destroyed. On the morning of the second day itself, 20 ballistic missiles were destroyed, eight fell into the sea, along with 311 drones and two cruise missiles were destroyed.
Some properties suffered minor damage due to falling debris during the containment. The ministry described the safety of citizens as supreme and expressed full preparedness to deal with any crisis. The promptness of the Indian Embassy amidst regional tension is commendable.
