India’s biggest flop film had two biggest stars, was remake of a blockbuster, made for Rs 68 crore, earned just Rs…

This 2013 movie starred like Tamannaah Bhatia, Paresh Rawal, and Mahesh Manjrekar in significant roles.

One of the most well-known actors in the movie business is Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn. He is renowned for producing tremendously successful blockbuster movies. Even though his movies bring in enormous sums of money at the box office, he has one movie that is by far his worst. The film is regarded as both his biggest failure and one of the worst in Ajay Devgn’s storied career. We are talking about ‘Himmatwala,’ which stars Tamannaah Bhatia in addition to Devgn. Audiences rejected this 2013 release, and the film’s producers suffered significant losses as a result.

The 1983 classic’s poor plot and execution drew harsh criticism for the remake. The movie twisted his success streak, which is well-known for starring in successful movies that made a lot of money when they were released. His impressive record was marred by the movie’s box office flop. Despite a great ensemble cast that includes Paresh Rawal and Mahesh Manjrekar, the film received harsh criticism for its outmoded plot, poor directing, and mediocre performances.

Ajay Devgn, though, put his all into the movie. To polish the scene, he spent three days in a cage with a real tiger, with whom he engaged in combat. The back of the actor’s neck was also severely injured. Sadly, it was all for nothing.

Himmatwala, which was directed by Sajid Khan in the style of the 1980s, ended up being more of a parody of the original. The remake had ludicrous action, outrageous banter, and scenes that made you squirm. The movie was a total failure, even though Sajid claimed it would be Ajay Devgn’s ‘biggest hit’ and keep theatres crowded for days. IMDb gave the movie a meagre 1.7 out of 10. Himmatwala cost Rs 68 crore to make, while it only earned Rs 58.34 crore in India. Ajay Devgn starrer only made a total of Rs 65.7 crore worldwide.
