Indian team for Champions Trophy 2025 and ODI series against England
The 15-member Indian team for Champions Trophy 2025 includes Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep. The names of Singh, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja have been included. Apart from this, Harshit Rana has been included in the squad for the ODI series against England.
On the other hand, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep have not been able to get a place in the team. Karun Nair, who has wreaked havoc with his bat in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy, has also not got a chance. Regarding Nair, Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar said, “An average of 750+ is really crazy, but this is a team of 15 people, so we cannot include everyone.”

After Pakistan's refusal to travel, the ICC has decided to hold India's matches in the Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai, UAE. The team will play all its league matches at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The team will play its first match against Bangladesh on 20 February, after which India will face its arch-rival Pakistan on 23 February. The team has to play its last league match against New Zealand on March 2. If the team is successful in reaching the semi-finals and then the final, then both the matches will be played in Dubai on March 4 and March 9 respectively. All India matches will start at 2.30 pm IST.

ICC Champions Trophy matches will be telecast live in India on Star Sports Network TV channels. Apart from this, live streaming of the match will be available on Disney+ Hotstar website and app.
