India's dominance in the most powerful passport increased, now you can travel visa free in so many countries…

New Delhi:- The ranking of the world's most powerful passports has been released. Singapore has regained its crown as the world's most powerful passport in 2025, according to the Passport Index. It has visa-free access to 195 out of 227 global destinations. Japan took second place, offering visa-free access to 193 countries.

After sharing the number one spot in 2024, EU member states France, Germany, Italy and Spain have fallen two places to third place. Finland and South Korea also join them, with all six passports giving visa-free access to 192 destinations in 2025. However, this time Singapore is alone at the top. Last year, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain shared the top ranking.

The strength of a country's passport is determined by how many countries its holder can visit without a visa or visa on arrival. Singapore has the most powerful passport in the world, allowing visa-free entry to 195 countries.

Ranking of India and Pakistan
India's passport ranking has increased from 85th in 2024 to 80th in 2025. The increase allows Indian passport holders to travel visa-free to 62 countries, up from 57 countries last year. On the contrary, Pakistan's ranking has fallen from 101st place in 2024 to 103rd place in 2025. Pakistani passport holders can enter 34 countries without requiring any prior visa.
