India’s first smartphone with selfie mirror, Realme 16 to be launched on April 2

New Delhi. Realme is going to launch a new smartphone in India, which will be named Realme 16 5G. The company has given information about this handset on the official portal and said that it will be launched in India on April 2.

Regarding Realme 16 5G, the company claims that it is India’s first selfie mirror phone. There is a reflective mirror near the camera sensor on the back panel. In such a situation, users will also be able to take selfies with the help of back camera setup.

Some details regarding the upcoming handset have been shared on the official portal of Realme India. In this, information about camera, design, display and IP rating has been shared.




  • Realme 16 has a 6.57 inch display and weighs 183 grams. Its thickness is 8.1 mm. The company is bringing this handset in two color variants, named Air White and Air Black color.

    Realme 16 battery and fast charger

    Realme 16 will be provided with a 7000mAh battery, with which a 60W fast charger is available. The details listed on the official website state that Android OS updates are for 3 years and Android security updates are for 4 years.

    Camera setup of Realme 16

    Realme 16 has a horizontal camera alignment, which looks a lot like the Google Pixel 10 series. This handset of Realme has a 50MP main camera sensor. It has a circular LED flash light. However, information about other camera sensors has not been shared and a 50MP front camera will also be available for selfies.

    What is selfie mirror feature?

    On the back panel itself, a reflective circular surface has been provided near the camera, which the company has named Selfie Mirror. With its help, users will be able to click high quality selfies from the rear camera.
