India's first Solar Car: India's first solar car launched at an affordable price; Will run 1 kilometer in just 80 paise

India’s first Solar Car Vayve Eva: Solar car has now entered the Indian car industry. It has been introduced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 event. Actually, 'Vayve Eva' of Pune based electric vehicle start-up company Vayve Mobility has become the country's first solar powered car. This electric car, which is less than 3 meters, has been available in three different variants. Whose starting ex-showroom price is only Rs 3.25 lakh.

Talking about the design of Vayve EVA solar car, the solar panel provided in this car can be used in place of the sunroof. Due to which the cost of driving the car one kilometer will be only 80 paise. The car manufacturer claims that this (Vayve EVA) is the country's first solar powered electric car. A single seat has been provided in the front of the car and a slightly wider seat in the rear. On which a child will be able to sit with an adult. The driving seat of the new car can be adjusted in 6 ways.

Vayve EVA also has panoramic sunroof and reverse parking camera. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity system is available inside the car along with AC. Its length is 3060mm, width is 1150mm, height is 1590mm and ground clearance is 170mm. Independent coil spring suspension is seen at the front and dual shock suspension at the rear. The company has given disc brakes in the front wheel of the car and drum brakes in the rear wheel. This car is equipped with electric power steering and the turning radius of the car is 3.9 meters. The top speed of this rear wheel drive car is 70 kilometers per hour.

Talking about the car's battery and full charge timing, the Vayve EVA solar car has a 18Kwh lithium-ion battery pack. The company has used a liquid cooled electric motor in the car which generates power of 12kW and torque of 40Nm. The car manufacturer says that it will take only 45 minutes for the car to be fully charged. This car gives a driving range of up to 250Km in a single charge. The cost of going 1Km by this car is only 80 paise. The car can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in just 5 seconds.
