India’s home season schedule released: 4 countries will tour, 9 ODIs and 5 Tests will be played in 17 cities

A total of 22 matches will be played in this entire season, which will be held in 17 different cities of the country. With this, cricket fans across the country will get a chance to watch live matches.

Home season will start with West Indies tour
The season will start from 27 September 2026 with the West Indies tour of India. Three ODIs and five T20s will be played in this tour. The ODIs will be held in Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati and New Chandigarh. After this the T20 series will be played in Lucknow, Ranchi, Indore, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

Sri Lanka will come to India after West Indies
After this, Sri Lankan cricket team will come to India in December 2026. There will be 3 ODIs and three T20s in this tour. ODIs will be played in Delhi, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, while T20 matches will be held in Rajkot, Cuttack and Pune.

2027 will start with a series against Zimbabwe
At the beginning of the new year, in January 2027, Zimbabwe team will tour India. 3 ODIs will be played in this tour, which will be held in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

India will host Border Gavaskar Trophy in 2027
The biggest attraction of this home season will be the 5-Test series against Australia. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy will start from 21 January 2027 in Nagpur. After this it will be played in Chennai, Guwahati, Ranchi and Ahmedabad. This match between India and Australia has always been high voltage and this time also a tough competition can be seen.
