Jai Mundra born in Rajasthan

Jai Mundra was born in Tonk, Rajasthan. It is about 100 kilometers from Jaipur. Since childhood, he was fond of playing cricket and also joined the Cricket Academy. He started as a fast bowler and later became a top order batsman and left-arm spinner. Talking to Cricket Ireland, he told that he left cricket to focus on studies. He started bowling fast again during college.

Shifted to Ireland in 2021

In 2019, he took a big decision and decided to leave his job and give cricket one last chance. In 2021, he shifted to Ireland to pursue a Masters degree, where he joined Leinster Cricket Club in Dublin and made his mark in Irish domestic cricket. In 2023, he was an important part of the Leinster team that won the Irish Senior Cup. He improved his performance after this and has now got a place in Ireland’s T20I team.
