India’s strong comeback on Pakistan, youth team reached Asia Cup final with four goals from Purti Ashish Tani

New Delhi . In the Men’s U-18 Hockey Asia Cup 2026, the Indian youth team has performed brilliantly and made it to the final. In the thrilling match played against arch-rival Pakistan in the semi-finals, India made a tremendous comeback and won 5-3. The hero of this victory was Purti Ashish Tani, who single-handedly changed the course of the match by scoring four goals and took the Indian team to the title match.

From the very beginning of this much-awaited match played at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Hockey Stadium, both the teams displayed aggressive play. India tried to apply pressure from the initial minutes and got a penalty stroke opportunity in the first quarter.
