IndiGo CEO Peter Elbers resigns, Rahul Bhatia will take over management work
Delhi. Peter Elbers, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of IndiGo, the country’s largest airline company, resigned on Tuesday. This information has been given in a statement. It is noteworthy that IndiGo is facing major disruption in its operations in the last three months. The statement said that till the appointment of the new CEO, the airline’s Managing Director Rahul Bhatia will look after the management of IndiGo under the interim arrangement.
Vikram Singh Mehta, Chairman, InterGlobe Aviation, said, “Rahul returns to take over the management of the airline to strengthen the company’s culture, further enhance operational excellence and further strengthen our commitment to providing customers with superior care, reliable service and a professional experience.” InterGlobe Aviation operates the airline under the brand name Indigo.
