Indigo Crisis Update: Relief for thousands of passengers! All bags returned within 48 hours after government’s strict action, refund today too

Indigo Crisis Update: There has been a rush of passengers for the past several days. The crisis of Indigo Airlines had been troubling passengers, but now the government’s tough decision has brought some relief. The Civil Aviation Ministry announced a significant relief on Sunday. According to the ministry, IndiGo has so far refunded over Rs 610 crore to passengers. Moreover, thousands of lost bags have been returned to their owners, much to the relief of passengers.
Following strict instructions from the ministry, the airline’s network is improving rapidly. Looking at the statistics, while only 706 flights were operated on Friday, the figure increased to 1565 on Saturday. It is expected to touch 1650 on Sunday. The government has clarified that flights for canceled flights will be fully refunded by Sunday evening and lost luggage will be found and delivered within 48 hours.

The airline has taken several important steps to reduce the inconvenience to the passengers. Passengers affected by flight cancellations will not be charged any additional charges if they reschedule their flights. Special help centers have also been set up to promptly resolve any issues related to refunds and bookings. The government’s clear objective is to resolve the issues arising out of the crisis as soon as possible so that air travel can resume smoothly and avoid any delays.

The biggest relief has come in terms of baggage. Till Saturday, 3,000 bags have been successfully delivered to passengers across the country. The ministry said other domestic airlines in the country are operating at full capacity and without any disruption. IndiGo’s performance showed steady improvement on Sunday. The government has directed airlines to ensure that bags left behind due to flight cancellations or delays are returned to passengers within 48 hours. Due to this, passengers have breathed a sigh of relief.
