IndiGo Flight Chaos: There was chaos in the sky in IndiGo flight! Passenger opened emergency exit twice, stopped breathing during landing

There was huge chaos in an IndiGo flight going from Bangalore to Varanasi when a mad passenger tried to open the emergency door of the plane flying in the air. This dangerous act was done not once, but twice, putting the lives of the passengers and crew members on board the plane at risk. This incident happened on the night of 28 March in flight number 6E 185. It was fortunate that a major accident was averted due to the promptness of the cabin crew and the plane was landed safely at Varanasi airport. Just before landing, he tried again. According to sources, the accused passenger tampered with the emergency exit for the first time during mid-air. Crew members immediately warned him, but the limit was reached when the plane was on ‘final approach’ to land at Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, when he tried to open the door for the second time. This action created an outcry inside the plane, but the crew brought the situation under control by following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The accused was taken under security cover at the airport. As soon as the plane landed safely on the runway at around 10:35 pm, security agencies immediately took charge. Despite these actions of the passenger, the pilot did not need to go-around the plane. After landing, CISF and airport security personnel took the accused into their custody. The airline has lodged an official report of the incident and strict legal action has been initiated against the passenger. Strange logic of the accused during interrogation. The accused caught has been identified as Mohammad Adnan, a resident of Mau district of Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation by police and intelligence agencies (ATS and IB), Adnan made a shocking claim. He said he was returning from a trip to Goa and was “not aware that the plane’s door could be opened by pressing a button.” However, the police have registered a case against him under relevant sections of the Indian Code of Justice (BNS) and are investigating whether it was merely an unintentional mistake or a well-planned conspiracy. Serious questions raised on air safety This incident has once again raised questions on the discipline and safety protocols of passengers inside the aircraft. Such tampering with the emergency exit can not only affect the pressure of the aircraft, but can also prove fatal for the entire flight. At present the accused is behind the bars and a detailed report of this case has also been sent to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
