New Delhi. IndiGo will give travel vouchers worth Rs 10,000 to customers who have been badly affected in the last few days. Passengers can use these vouchers for any future IndiGo journey in the next 12 months. An airline spokesperson said on Thursday that this compensation is in addition to the promise made under the existing government guidelines, according to which IndiGo will give compensation of Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 to those customers depending on the block time of the flight. This voucher will be available only to those passengers whose flights were canceled within 24 hours of the departure time.

The spokesperson said that IndiGo’s first priority is to take care of its customers. Following the operational disruption, we have ensured that all necessary refunds for canceled flights have been processed, most of which have already been credited to your account and the rest will be arriving shortly. The spokesperson said that if the booking was done through a travel partner platform. Necessary steps for refund have also been initiated.
