Indo Count Industries reported a sharp year-on-year decline in profitability for the quarter ended December 31, 2025 (Q3FY26), with net profit falling more than 65% compared to the same period last year. The company’s performance was impacted by lower income and a steep contraction in margins.
Revenue from operations for Q3FY26 stood at ₹1,062.83 crore, compared to ₹1,151.55 crore in Q3FY25, marking a decline of 7.70% YoY. Total income came in at ₹1,074.24 crore versus ₹1,167.61 crore in the year-ago quarter, reflecting a drop of 8.00% YoY.
Total expenses during the quarter were ₹1,040.75 crore, down 2.98% from ₹1,072.75 crore reported in Q3FY25. While expenses moderated marginally, the sharper fall in income weighed heavily on profitability.
Profit before tax (PBT) plunged 64.67% YoY to ₹33.50 crore in Q3FY26, compared to ₹94.86 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total tax expenses declined to ₹9.07 crore from ₹24.09 crore, in line with the lower earnings.
Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹24.43 crore, down 65.48% from ₹70.77 crore in Q3FY25. The steep contraction in bottom-line performance highlights margin pressure and weaker operating leverage during the quarter.
