See the condition of the tanker which used to supply water in Indore.

Indore Water Crises: Indore of Madhya Pradesh, which is said to be the cleanest city of the country, is in the news. But, this time it has come into the headlines not for its cleanliness but because of poisonous water. Serious negligence of Municipal Corporation has been seen in Bhagirathpura area. The drinking water being supplied to the people here is not clean and safe, but is being delivered through rusted tankers. The situation is such that people in the area are falling ill due to continuous drinking of contaminated water and are reaching the hospital with complaints of vomiting and diarrhoea.

This is complete chaos

In fact, the regular drinking water supply from Narmada river in Bhagirathpura has been stopped at present. The Municipal Corporation says that there is a problem in the pipeline, which is being rectified. Instead, it was claimed that water will be supplied through tankers, so that people do not face any kind of problem. But the reality is telling something else.

These circumstances came to light

During investigation, it was revealed that the tankers from which water is being supplied are themselves in very dirty condition. The lids and interiors of many tankers are heavily rusted. When they are filled with water, the rust particles get mixed directly into the water. When the tanker is opened, dirt is clearly visible inside, which makes it clear that people are being forced to drink rusty water.

How true are the claims of the Municipal Corporation?

Local people say that many people have already fallen ill due to contaminated water and now the water they are getting through tankers is also dangerous for health. Despite this, the municipal administration is claiming that the water being supplied is completely safe.
